The Amyloid Fluorescent Staining Kit for histological staining employs a green fluorescent dye that selectively localizes to amyloid deposits and exhibits a dramatic increase in fluorescent brightness upon binding. A second fluorescent (blue) DNA binding dye is included in the kit for nuclear co-staining.
This kit is designed to be used in place of (or in addition to) western blotting for detecting aggregates formed in the a-Synuclein Aggregate Detection Kit (CSR-SYN01) but should also be applicable to staining amyloid in other systems (cells or tissue).
