The cartridge can be used directly on automated ÄKTA FPLC Systems. The elution of c-Myc-tagged proteins from the cartridge is achieved by the addition of the c-Myc-tag peptide (EQKLISEEDL). As the c-Myc-tag peptide competes with c-Myc-tagged proteins on the cartridge, the purified c-Myc-tagged proteins maintain function and retain protein activity
