Cosmo Bio
Kakshine® is a novel DNA staining reagent based on a pyridocyanine backbone. It exhibits high selectivity for DNA and excellent cell permeability, making it suitable for staining not only animal cells but also plant cells. Additionally, depending on the concentration used, it can selectively stain mitochondrial DNA. Kakshine® is a registered trademark of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System. This product is based on the research findings of Professor Yoshikatsu Sato of the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules at Nagoya University, part of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System, and is provided by Cosmo Bio Co., Ltd.
